About Owl Equestrian

I’m Natalie, and horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up alongside Shannon, an Arabian-Welsh cross my mother adopted as a foal, I developed a deep respect for equine well-being. That early connection sparked a lifelong commitment to understanding and advocating for horse welfare.

I have a Diploma in Equine Studies with distinction and an Equine Welfare Certificate from the University of Guelph. As a certified equine massage therapist, I have worked with therapeutic riding horses and remain dedicated to education and advocacy, helping others develop a more thoughtful, welfare-centered approach to horsemanship.

Vision

Owl Equestrian is committed to fostering equine welfare through education, creating opportunities for people to engage with horses in ways that may not be available in traditional riding-focused programs.

Guiding Statement for Equine Welfare

Whether teaching a course or treating a horse, I strive to always act in the horse’s best interest and encourage others to adopt a welfare-centered approach in all aspects of horsemanship.
